  • Deuteronomy 30:19 tells us that God has given us a choice.
  • God in His sovereignty does not choose for us but has given the choice to us.
  • 2 Timothy 3:16 and John 15:3 tell us that God uses His word to teach, humble and correct us.
  • James 4:10 and 1 Peter 5:6 tell us that we are to humble ourselves.
  • James 4:6 and 1 Peter 5:5 tell us that God gives grace to the humble not sickness and disease.
  • James 1:17 tells us that God’s gifts are good and perfect.
  • Romans 2:4 tells us that God uses goodness to bring repentance in our lives.
  • The word salvation comes from the Greek word sozo that means saved, healed, delivered, set free, made well, made whole, preserved, protected and cause to prosper.
  • According to Psalm 103:1-3 God wants us forgiven and healed.
  • We must realize that healing is God’s idea and that anything and everything that helps bring that about is on God’s healing team.
  • If God has a problem with doctors then why did God use Luke a physician to write the gospel of Luke?
  • In Proverbs 17:22 medicine is called good.
  • According to 1 Samuel 16:7 and 1 Corinthians 2:11 only God and ourselves know our own heart.
  • We may be sad that a family member or friend has died prematurely but we can take comfort knowing they are with the Lord and as Paul said here “It is far better”.
  • We have either known someone or heard of someone who knew about healing and had faith for healing, but was not healed.
  • The answer simply is we don’t know unless God shows us.
  • No matter what happens on this earth and in our lives it does not change the word of God.
  • Our faith must be based on God’s word and not our experiences in life.
  • Deuteronomy 29:29 tells us that there are things that God knows and that He will reveal them to us and there are things He will not reveal to us.
  • In John 21:20-23 we see Jesus telling Peter to get his eyes off of John and to follow Jesus.
  • No matter what happens with or to others we need to keep our eyes and focus on Jesus and we need to keep following Jesus.
